The Universe is conspiring against me.
Nov. 28th, 2005 08:47 amNOOOOooooooooo! I don't wanna write any more smut! Shan't shan't shan't shan't shan't!
Also, writing any romance between 6th year Hermione and Snape is kinda icky to me. I don't care if she technically came of age at the beginning of the school year, nor do I care that she's used a timeturner. As HBP proved, she's still too dang immature! Also, how do you write a PWP with a believable Sev trying not to get hurt?
Actually, now that I think about it, I did read a PWP that was HBP compliant, that took place during the Christmas Party... (can't remember who wrote it) but Snape was definitely not afraid of getting hurt!
Hmph.
Maybe a drabble?
ETA: Of course, with the thought of a drabble, I figured out a way to write it. Heh.

Must send a birthday greeting to Lucius. I'll have to congratulate him on his newly emancipated status. He'd like that, I'm sure.

Date: 2005-11-29 03:22 pm (UTC)Even Seventh year Herms is pushing the boundary for me a bit, however... "If It Is Well Written, I Will Read It." (That means you, Avery!)
I have a weakness for post-grad Hermione returning to Hogwarts under whatever pretext the author cares to come up with!
I guess I just have a problem of suspending disbelief when it comes to a 17-18 year old girl, no matter HOW mature and intelligent, hitting it off with a late 30s, early 40s guy. It HAS to be well written and involve circumstances!
But, please do not stop writing smut!!! Smut is good for da soul!
Lyrics du Jour:
But the master of disaster
Gets tangled in his telecaster
He can't play it any faster
When he plays the blues
When he had the heart to ask her
And every note just shook the plaster
Now he's just a mean old bastard
When he plays the blues
