Okay, I severely underestimated how much of a bitch it would be to use bias tape to finish off the neckline of Babes tunic. It took something like four hours to get the neckline decent. I lost count of how many times I needed to rip out the seams.

Otherwise, the tunic was a snap. Well, without finishing the seams it was a snap.

The cape was much, much easier, and it looks very nice. I could wear it in a pinch. Obviously, it would be a jacket cape for me.

So, sewing's done, but I still need to clean up. My to do list went out the window this morning because Babe was being Super Crank. After a few of his fits, I joined him in the Super Crank league.

Anyway, we're off in only about an hour and we won't be back till Sunday. Yay! If I weren't so tired, I'd be super-duper excited. I just hope Babe goes to sleep at a reasonable hour tonight. Ah! Must remember to take sleep book and bottle! And pjs. I doubt we'll need them, but better to be prepared.

Anyway, I need to go off and clean up. Sweep the kitchen floor, at least.

Hahaha, I swear, every time I hear anything about Babe, I think, "She's the most adorable mother ever." Making a cape, awww.

And other than that regrettably stalkerish statement -- hope you have fun at the Faire, and that you get at least a little grass, not like in Arizona where we just pretend in the middle of the dusty desert. <3
