Otherwise said, all this looks so much better in real life, but my little camera combined with my lack of skills isn't up to scratch for capturing it. Ach well.

The river view from one of the few bridges in town (Seriously, there are only three or four bridges that cross the river that is smack dab in the middle of town. It's obnoxious. Oh, and this is a pedestrian bridge.):

It almost looks like a scene out of a movie, complete with a big, badly parked, American car out front, doesn't it?

More to follow later as I do a bit of editing on the others. Crop is a wonderful tool. :-)

And they are so much better in real life! I have absolutely no idea what kind of maples I have in my yard. All I know is that they are three different varieties (three, counting the neighbor's tree) There are probably five different kinds of maples just on this block. :-D

I am in LOVE with the third photo down. I think it would make a beautiful painting. The water is so glassy and the red tree in the foreground really adds to the picture! It makes me wonder what is down river...so calming.

This is the only time of year I like New England. The only time. Summer's too hot (nothing to Texas, though!), winter's too long (but my allergies get better), spring is allergy central and that leaves... six weeks of beautiful, gorgeous weather with scenery to die for.

It just isn't enough anymore, though I'll love and appreciate it while it's here. ;D
