I think that the last coat of oil I put on today (which brings the total up to 6) might just be enough. After it dries thoroughly, I'll buff it and see, but as it is, it's impervious to my fingernail. So, tomorrow I get to turn it upside down and screw on the support for the trim! Yay! I might have a countertop soon! And it's looking really good!
It's looking more and more like if we go to Colorado, it'll be the last half of November (scary, scary Thanksgiving travel time!) or January. Engagements are cropping up all over the place early November. :-)
Speaking of which, I need to clean up the house by Tuesday noon. If I could get started on "Rocks" as well, that would be great, but I don't think I'm naïve enough to even hope for that. :-|
