Advice, please?
Mar. 22nd, 2007 02:05 amI really, really should be in bed (I'm even dressed the part, including no glasses, so please ignore typos) but I realized that if I'm to have any chance of getting advice, nows the time to ask.
I'm substitute teaching a small art class of young children (don't laugh; the person was desperate) tomorrow afternoon. Any ideas on what to give them to paint? They've been working with H2O's, pastels and pencil. I plan on arriving far enough ahead to get a glimpse of previous work, but I'll still need an idea. They all will be working from one thing, like a still life, from what the person described.
I should have asked what the course description was. I'll have to ask at the front desk...
So, any ideas? What would you have liked as a 6 year old in an informal, extracuricular art class?
