Excuses, excuses...
Feb. 9th, 2008 11:30 pmErgh. Didn't get anything written today, but that's because there really wasn't any time (and I'm too tired now). But. I did do the taxes. And considering they were a touch more complicated than most years', I am pleased with myself for having finished.
My addition and subtraction skills have waned substantially, though. It's most disturbing.
After taxes, Geoff, Babe and I hustled off to the church for a "Thank you for being an RE teacher!" pizza dinner and game night. Geoff isn't actually teaching this semester, but he's volunteered to be on-call if they should need him again. :-)
At the dinner, we were introduced to a nifty game called Blockus or some-such. It's like tetris, only not. Um... the challenge of the game is to use all your pieces (and no two are shaped the same), yet they cannot touch on the sides, but they do need to connect at the corners. It looked very cool and quite challenging. And fun.
( Health matters... )
