I wonder if the people at the new dentist's office think I'm phobic. I had to call to reschedule, yet again, because Babe is still sick (more persistent cough, though not terribly croupy), and I don't want to expose him to my friend's kids.

If Geoff were here...

But he's not, and I shouldn't have to rely on him as a babysitter. I'm lucky that I can, for the most part.

Fortunately, our dental insurance doesn't run out till Dec 1, so the time frame isn't as tight as I originally thought. yay.


*sigh* Today is one of those gray, bothersome days. It doesn't help that the soundtrack is one of coughing. Nor does it help that Babe is starting to get cranky from being sick and cooped in.
Next week I should get some supplies that will make baking (gluten-free) easier, and that will help. Next week Geoff should also be home for the week. No promises, but...

Ah, but here comes the sun, shining through the fog, warming up the room and soul. Maybe I'll make myself some cocoa (to hell with it!) and work some more on my SBB piece. Which is coming along nicely, btw. If I do say so myself. ;-)
