I think I spent my entire week's energy on Wednesday. I am dragging now. I thought I'd perk up after a bit of alone time this morning (though it was only an hour and a half, because none of us were able to get up on time), but no.
I hope I'm not getting sick.
Babe's definitely teething again. He's much less cranky than the first time. ;-) Needy, though. Very needy.
I think I'm going to go watch The Iron Giant with him. I'm not up for attending to his constant "Look, Mom, look!"s today. Not and keep my temper.
So...
ETA: I painted instead, doing the bad-parent thing of sending Babe down to watch the movie without watching it first, myself. However, I don't regret it. The painting combined with a cup of hot, sweet cocoa (I usually take it on the bitterer side) with two big marshmallows has cheered me up considerably. And energized me enough to make some green slime for dessert. Yum! I'll post pics of the painting (I finished it!) whenever the computer actually thinks its way through the downloading process. :-(
Now I should go see how the movie is going and also see if Babe wants another chapter or three of "The Trumpet of the Swan" at some point. Then I'll decide whether I'm cooking dinner tonight, or if Geoff is.
