I love it. The colors along the horizon seem right to me. Of course, I might feel differently seeing it in person, but it is quite nice this way.

I have a huge six-page essay I'll be rolling out in the next few weeks. It's already written, it just needs a little reorganization before I'm ready to post.

Thanks! It is different in person, but I think this is fairly accurate to the piece. Now. (I worked on it a bit more yesterday because it only showed well when well lit.)

Book or life essay?

Oh, I posted it. I suppose you could say it's both, but it's book inspired:

A Vindication of Love

I thought that might be it, which is why I asked. :-)

Oh, but there are two more forthcoming. One on Venus vs Psyche, which is primarily a personal screed. The other on A Little Princess, which is going to be a two-parter for me, for friends, but ultimately, for B&N. I'm writing the me version, first, but have to finish re-reading the book.

I'm reviewing the sequel by Hilary McKay and it is charming. I'm a big fan of McKay, but this clenched the deal for me. (And I claim to not like fanfic!)

Hee! There is a Fanfic out there to seduce the hardest critic... Not to mention a Story to lure a writer into fanfic. ;-)

When my energy revives enough to actually think (rather than just be) I will read your Vindication essay all the way through. And I look forward to the next two (though I'll admit more to A Little Princess since that is at least familiar ground for me. =)
