Patriotism

We're #1! We're #1! Or not.

And Hillary (rightfully) bashes the US media.

We have become so insular as a nation that we don't even realize how far we've sunk. It's really sad. (And reminiscent, though only mildly, of USSR days, where they were told they won the war.) And what's even worse is that telling the truth about this nation is deemed an act of treason nowadays.

It's like saying to a heart-attack patient, "Oh, your heart is fine! It's absolutely fine! You might want to cut out the bacon, but you'll survive no matter what." Or, more accurately, a team of doctors arguing about how to treat the heart-attack patient as he comes into the ER. With none actually touching the patient. And shooing the nurses away.

Anyway, that first article is really good.

In other news, I took a really long nap today while the boys were out, and I think it helped tremendously. I was one grumpy mother this morning.

I think it will also help the mood of this house that Page lost his second tooth this evening. That will make eating a lot more comfortable for him!

And Geoff managed to find his missing cell phone! I am very surprised, actually. But, surprisingly, pleased.
