Geoff is off to Massachusetts again (wow, I spelled it right the first time! Go me!), but with the hope that it won't be an overnighter this time. However, he came home from the rental car place and handed me the keys to the car.

Or truck, rather. He hadn't made a reservation, so he got a behemoth of a pickup truck. A Dodge Ram 2500 or something. HUGE, four door pick-up. He wanted me to go for a spin in it, just for the experience, and I totally see why! OMG, that thing is high! It's like riding in the cab of a moving truck! The minivans were tiny things to be crushed beneath my wheels, and the sedans were like ants they were so far beneath my notice!

Okay, I exaggerate, but not by much. It was really, REALLY high. I had to pull myself up by the steering wheel when getting in so as not to re-sprain my butt. It really does need a ladder.

The visibility was seriously awesome. I'd be able to see over the snow dykes come February. If only it weren't a gas guzzler... *sigh*
