I'm grateful things aren't worse, but...
Dec. 10th, 2012 11:14 amI'm so tired. I'm so tired, I almost don't care if I get an "A" on my finals or not. Almost.
( Whinge, whine )
However, there are good things.
- Today is the last full day I have to stress over school for the semester. After this, I have six weeks to recover and regroup. And I only have one accounting class next semester. (And I am willfully forgetting how horrible next semester's schedule is.)
- While I have loads of studying to do today, I also have time to rest (and perchance to nap). In fact, I have set aside a few hours specifically for resting and relaxing as a part of my finals preparation.
-- related, the couch is clear of all laundry and legos, meaning I won't have to work to collapse on it.
- I gave Geoff the car today (he's still ill, but not ill enough to stay home from work), so I can't be lured out into the nasty weather for any errands or other distractions.
- My period is nearly over for the month.
- I'm getting a haircut on Thursday. (yayayayayay!!!)
- I have full use of my limbs, I don't have cancer, I'm not in so much pain that I need morphine (or even oxycodone), and I have a loving, intelligent cadre of family and friends.
That last one has all the important stuff in it. All the rest, both good and bad, is small stuff which I needn't sweat, right?
Happy Monday.
