Didn't sleep last night. not true. i went for a lie down to gedt some alone time around nine, and fell asleep. woke up at one when Geoff came to bed. couldn't get back to sleep. After two hours of lying there, I was starting to get mad, so I figured I better get up so Geoff could get some sleep at least. Fortunately, he'd had a nap as well that evening when he's put Babe down, but...

i finally went back to bed about seven and was just in time to cuddle with geoff for a few minutes, and he was so lovely and warm, warm, warm, before he got up to go to work. i think i got about an hour's nap before Babe woke up.

everything hurts because I'm tired. my hands are sluggish and weighted. thoughts are sluggish and weighted. everything sluggish and weighted.

I asked geoff to come home from work early today so that i can maybe get a nap before choir practice. i know i'll have got my second or third wind by then, so i'm figuring on going. i need my choir fix.

and now i have to get ready for my doctor's appointment.

after i get back, make the pea soup.

Oh, thank you! I'm taking it easy, but no real rest available today. Tomorrow, however, has potential.

Thanks! Unless he takes a nap again today, it's doubtful. :-( But at least he's being relatively low-key so far. :-)

There is a natural herb that helps one sleep. Valarian? It does not make you sleepy, just really relaxes you so that you can. I have tried it and it worked for me.

Pea Soup sounds rather good. Also good comfort food.

Yeah, that's what my doctor suggested. So far I haven't noticed herbs working very well for me when it comes to relaxation. Okay, that's not true. Herb works wonders, but as I'm allergic to the stuff, and don't really want to risk my vote, it's pretty much off limits.

Pea soup is wonderful stuff. It never lsts long, though. A big pot is gone in three meals. *sigh*

Oh boy do I know that feeling!!! *sends hugs and chocolate and heated blankets and spells to make the child be calm*

Oh and you mentioned your marvelous bread earlier (today yesterday?). I was wondering if I could get the recipe?

Thank you! FOrtunately, Babe was pretty calm and obliging most of the day.

Hmm. Recipes... Sure. I'll post them later today (and if I don't, just give me a reminder nudge.)
