I hear you. Boy, do I hear you! But, not everyone is like that.

This is the wedding photo we chose to display.

Note the formal wear... for us, the wedding party. I seem to remember several of the guests being in jeans or hippy skirts. :-)

It was taken by my (at the time) three-year-old niece.

I do too! It makes me giggle every time I look at it. And reminds me why I married Geoff, as I think it was his idea to display it. I'm pretty sure he was joking when he suggested it, but I thought it a brilliant idea!

It's got character! And has captured a good sort of emotion.

(Plus one of my first thought on seeing it was that it was quite well exposed!)

Did you use that one as your Christmas card? Priceless!

LOL! What a wonderful idea! Sadly, no, we didn't. I'm not sure we sent out Christmas cards that year, in fact.

On a similar not, the picture of brand-new Babe in his biliruben blanket would have made excellent Christmas cards as well. A glowing blue bundle in the arms of his Nana...

I never saw any photos of your wedding, come to think of it!

It was gorgeous, though; possibly my favorite of every wedding I've ever attended.

Not many have. I think only four or five people have, actually, including family members.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I enjoyed it, even though it was hot and I was stressed, but it was good seeing everyone. And I was so happy to have you and... argh. Name drain! The two of you singing!

Cheers!

Hey you! Good to see you around!

Thanks. I like to think it epitomizes me, Geoff and our relationship. For better and for worse. :-)

An absolute classic! And not a meringue. Hats off!

Thanks! And, no, not a meringue, although there was a gorgeous lace, full-length jacket to go with the dress. (I was very pleased with my wedding dress, especially as I had designed it myself. :-)

Meringues are silly. And almost always unflattering. And loud. And for an outdoor wedding, such as mine, completely impractical! Oh, and the rustling would get on my nerves no end!
