Next place we buy must:
be near a body of water (preferably a large and moving body)
have an attic (no matter how small)
have a window in the bathroom(s)
have lots of natural light

Would be nice if:
it is a single family residence w/o home owner's assoc.
ceiling height is 8' or more
it has a nice view
its foundation is above the flood stage

To do today:
shower
go to bank
Chiropractor
refill scripts
dig out recycle bins
laundry...
vacuum (which follows that I must pick up first)

call Dr. about echo

Would be nice to:
get new faucet for bathroom
check out plywood for future cabinet doors
(and price out cabinets)
write some more
paint

Been there, done that. I've lived most of my life next to a river or canal of some sort. Never again. Too damn damp. There's always a centenial flood happening. Or they're dredging up the canal and it stinks. The fog arrives first and leaves last. And here in Old Europe, there's 9 chances out of 10 that there's a motorway or train tracks following the river- or lakeside. Not to mention the riverboats passing by.

Ah, see, I don't count most rivers or canals as bodies of water. They're water for sure, but more veins than bodies. ;-) I was thinking more the sea or a big lake. Yes, low tide stinks, and it'll be damp most of the time (making it chillier than other places), but... I need more water in my life.
