This dovetails nicely with the style of therapy I would practice should I ever pursue that path.

I also liked this bit: edgy wisdom from writer Charles Caleb Colton: "If you cannot inspire a woman with love of you, fill her above the brim with love of herself; all that runs over will be yours."

Of course, I used to try this approach with narcissists, and it didn't work so well. They were never full, and there was nothing left over for me.

But gee, wouldn't it be amazing to be loved that way? (Listened to, or filled over.) I have a few friends who have definitely demonstrated the listening method.
