Well, I wasn't going to post anything until all the laundry was done, but I give up. The last full load is in the washer getting washed and all the clean stuff, except the wool sweaters which are still drying, are put away. And I get brownie points for actually washing the family room blankets and Babe's quilt this round.
Anyway, the reason I'm posting is to provide those interested with a throw-away article of astronomyishness: Mnemonic for the 11 planets.
Also, is it possible to be a selective addict? I've been munching carrots without restraint today to try and curb the desire for real sugar, but when I finally caved five minutes ago, I went for the marshmallows, not the cocoa puffs, because... ew! On the other hand, if there had been cookies in the house, I would have been all over them and eschewing the marshmallows with the same disdain I have for the cocoa puffs. I guess the question is whether I would have caved with a bowl of cocoa puffs had the marshmallows not been there, eh?
Also, I'm having a bit of an imagination failure. In the post-Voldemort world, assuming Harry has a political influence (whether he wants it or not), would he have any secrets worth killing for? Besides the knowledge of Horcruxes, that is...

Date: 2008-02-28 01:39 am (UTC)he also knows where in the forbidden forest he dropped the resurrection stone. There's this spell called 'Accio' ;-) Isn't that covered by an exchange fic though?
He knows the enchantments put on Gringotts vaults when you try to steal something
He'd know how to get past another dragon if they installed a replacement (the clankers)
He knows the name of the goblin who legged it with Gryffindor's sword (oh now there's a bunny! What if the goblin ran away during their escape and someone wants to track him down?)
He knows that Grindewald is dead because he saw it in a vision, but nobody else was there when Voldemort offed him so someone might want pople to think Grindewald is still alive.
Uh, you can tell I've been working - the mind is running around a bit!

As for Harry knowing any secrets - hmm, you think the Gringotts goblins would want to kill someone who had figured out how to break into their vaults? or the Ministry kill someone who knew how Barty Crouch Jr and Sirius escaped from Azkaban? are you thinking of a new plot bunny?
