I just called Church Lady Organizer Extraordinaire (CLOE) to ask if Babe and I could make it up to the church getaway thing as a day trip on Saturday, and she said, "Oh, YES, please do!!!"
So, SQUEEEEEEE!!!
Geoff will be staying behind to work (This month is dedicated to work, in a very serious way. By that I mean that in the last 14 days, he's worked approximately 180 hours. The whole month is expected to be this way.), but that's fine. This way I get to spend my birthday with a fun group of people, Babe gets to spend the day with lots of kids who adore him, and Geoff gets to work guilt free.
