To remind myself

Done so far this week:

housework -

9 (or was it 12?) loads laundry (everything but sour pillow) including stinking slipcover
Scrubbed and disinfected basement area rug
Washed and spot scrubbed floor beneath couch
Kept dishes relatively current
Got recycling out
Stored some of new fabric
Bathed Babe several times
Basic, basic garden maint.

momwork -

2 hours of playgroup (v. noisy, but good)
Refrained from murdering Babe several times
Cleaned up Babe's bedroom after ickiness (hence the large number of laundry loads)
Made pancakes (which Babe didn't eat...)
Called Geoff home for bedtime stories/interaction time (but Babe still pissed off at him for being gone all the time)
4 hour playdate (god, it's nice to talk with a like-minded adult while the children play nicely!)
Got Babe to try 'new' food
Naked time... not a complete success (see rug and floor bullets above) but proves he knows how and when. *grumbles*
Played various games of Babe's invention
Got Babe to run through sprinkler by running through with him. Twice. (Note: Sitting in the shade in soaked clothes is a wonderful way of cooling off!)
Gave Babe one timeout, but didn't need to follow through on threat of locking him in his room
Kept Babe from overheating two days out of three (pretty sure ickiness on third day was result of ovreheating)
Slathered Babe with sunscreen


Things I need to do before Monday:

Finish washing/spot scrubbing basement floor
Wipe-down/dust and sweep upstairs bedrooms; install a/c
Finish last load of laundry
Wash/scrub kitchen floor
Thoroughly clean livingroom, including moving couch
Clean bathroom, including walls and potty seat
Go to Maine for the day
Pay a few bills
Call plumber


Things I didn't do...

Well, at least I'm not a bad mother, anyway. :D

I swear, though... Babe and I both do not react well to the heat temper-wise (I think it's our red hair flaring up), and so this last week has been rough. Thank goodness for pools and sprinklers and childcare, though!

Where are you going to find time??? With that list of to do's I would be busy until next year.

Hmmmm. I would adore a drabble!!!! Sirius, just because of the new prequel, has been on my mind. Pair him up with lady of your choice. Make sure we have a bike in it.

I don't know, honestly. Although not having a job other than the to do list helps, I think. ;-)

I don't have your drabble ready yet, but I am thinking on it. I'll be sure to get to it before the week ends, though.
