Babe has apparently forgotten how to use the toilet when it comes to pooping. He's been having more and more accidents lately (sometimes as often as three times a day, pee or poop) and he's even been using baby-talk more often. Now, I know about pre-mental-leap regressions, but this is ridiculous! I am at my wit's end, and Geoff was at his wit's end last week.

It hasn't been going on for very long, since Thanksgiving or so, but it's been pretty damn consistent. I don't get it. I don't. Do any of you?

Were there any changes to his normal routine? That would be my only guess.

None that I've perceived. Thanksgiving I understood because we were in a different location for a few days. But it's been at least two weeks since Thanksgiving, and nothing's new around here.

And of course this comes after his yearly check-up in which I marked the "No, he's not having any issues with potty training" box.

any chance he's trying to get your attention, with all the home remodeling and Christmas errands taking away "his" time with you? I have no idea why he's regressing, I just threw that out as a random thought...
