To those Deutsch speakers out there...
Dec. 17th, 2008 11:09 pmWhat does edelvollmilchschokolade translate to? I know about the milk chocolate, but what's edelvoll?
I'm currently enjoying some edelvollmilchschokolade mit feinen gewurzen. (What's gewurzen?)
The description is: Duftende weihnachts-gewurze wie anis, nelken, koriander und ein haunch von Vanille und zimt cremig geruhrt in zartschmetzender edelkuverture.

edelvollmilchschokolade = ordinary milk chocolate with the word "edel",
edel
adj. noble, precious, affectedly delicate, overly refined, thoroughbred; aristocratic
put in front of it to make it sound really special.
"Gewürze" means spices, the transcription translates to: aromatic christmas spices like anise, carnation, coriander and a hint of vanilla and cinnamon were mixed to make this delicate coverture.
We just like combining two words to make one ridiculously long one.
