Jan. 1st, 2009 07:46 pmYou know what's good? Being able to eat again. Even if it is just plain beef on rice.
You know what's also good? Having a good book to read whilst sick. Though the sick part is never good. But, if I have to have no energy from not being able to eat anything, then I'm glad I've got a good book to while the time away.
It's sentimental and moral and terribly Good, but I do love "Little Women" very much. I forgot how joyful the story is (not having come to the Very Sad part yet).
And now I shall return to it and Amy's adventure's overseas. :-)

Date: 2009-01-03 07:57 pm (UTC)Yeah, I agree. I think that's one of the reasons the SS/HG fandom is paling for me a bit is because... Yeah, Severus is fighting for the 'right' side, but, you know, he really isn't a good man. He's a bastard. That combined with all the Ron bashing (which has been getting more and more aggravating to me as time wears on)... I like Good books without villains every now and again. Books where you can root for everyone.
