*sighs*

Well, at least one thing is off my mind now. Babe has been having a rough week and a half, starting last Monday. I still can't believe he actually hit another boy without provocation, but there you have it. However, because of the hitting incident (everything else is perfectly normal, if not annoying as hell), I emailed his teacher to ask her opinion about whether he is actually ready for school. She finally got back to me (computer problems delayed her) and reassured me that he's definitely ready.

Which is a relief.

On [livejournal.com profile] timestep's friend's advice, I picked up "Positive Discipline" by Jane Nelson and have been reading it in my spare time, mostly in the bathroom. It's a book both Geoff and I need to read to be really effective, but I think it will help. Maybe. He's a stubborn sod (he gets it from me), and I'm tired so much of the time... (How awful it must be for him to have such tired parents. Especially introverted, tired parents.) But. We'll get there. Figuring out how to diffuse and get rid of the power struggles will be the biggest problem, but I do think we'll get there. The book's advice is sound.

On a random note, I'm wondering if Richard in LOST is the Devil. True, the island has healing qualities, but, yeah. He's ageless. And they aren't exactly shying away from supernatural/spiritual themes on that show. Geoff thinks that Richard is from the Black Rock, and I think that is definitely possible, but I also think he might just be a spiritual being.

And... oh gosh. I hope Penny's okay. And the sprog. If they aren't, Eloise, Charles and every other known Island Conspirator better watch out. Desmond's bound to go a bit berserk.

Speaking of Island Conspirators... What the hell is up with the Dharma Initiative vs. the Others? Is Ben an Other rather than a Dharma? And if so, how the hell did the Others take over all the Dharma facilities the world over?

But, whatever is up, I'm looking forward to a happy ending. After all, Jin is alive, Sun left her sprog in Korea and they are lost in time, so I fully expect them to get back (maybe a few years older) to Korea and find Sprog and raise her happily.

And I expect Kate returned Aaron to Claire's mum, although it still isn't clear whether Claire is dead, either. She might even be corporeal, unlike Christian, whom I doubt is alive physically. But the possibility is still there for there to be a big ol' Shepard family reunion at the end, when they are let off the island. And yes, I do think they will be let off the island at the end.
