I'm not thrilled with this one. I really think it ought to be an ink drawing, but I have as much mastery of that medium as I do at watercolor, i.e. none. Also, I hate doing backgrounds. And it shows.
This also shows how poor my drawing technique has become. :-/
But, as a sketch, it's not bad. I suppose. (It does look better in person. I wish I had a scanner, as it might come out better scanned rather than photographed.)
Anyway...

I worked on it a bit more, just darkening some bits here and there, and changed the composition a bit (the one above is mightily cropped) and came up with what I think is a better version.

And one where I messed with the level a bit more:

Take your pick as to which you like best.

If Camillo hadn't posted about hers, and I wouldn't have looked through the tags.. I'd've missed it completely! That would have been tragic!!
