Is it possible (legal) to find out who all is receiving massive bonuses (in publicly-funded, failing companies), and post their names publicly? As long as their addresses aren't listed, I don't think it could be construed as endangerment... Though maybe harassment...?

Not that I'm likely to do that, mind. But I hope someone does.

For shame, executives! For shame!

In other news, I woke up to what I thought was the reset alarm, but it turned out to be my nose buzzing.

The French govt made it very clear to all companies clamoring for help: chose between executive bonuses and govt money. If your executives did such a great job, you don't need the dough. If you need the dough, the execs weren't so hot, were they?

Of course, the companies whined, saying the bonuses had been voted by the board of directors, and the govt answered: so, what?

I loathe our present administration, but this, they did right.

Yes, they did do that right. Our government? Not so much. Bleh.

(Perhaps I need to write some more letters telling them to say 'So what?' Personal responsibility in the public affairs and whatnot.)
