Babe is still sick, and I'm starting to get worried. He hasn't eaten much of anything for the past week, subsisting almost solely on water and apple juice. His fever is low-grade, but persistent, and I've had to give him ibuprofen at least once a day for the pain.
The scariest thing, though, is his lethargy. I can probably count the minutes he's been up and about this week on one hand.
At least he has been drinking plenty of water. However, if he's still off on Monday, he's going to the doctor.

Date: 2009-03-28 06:41 pm (UTC)I hate those low-grade persistent fevers. It's what I usually have. Very annoying, as there isn't much you can actually do, medicine-wise... fever too low to try and "break" it. But very, very exhausting, when it goes on for days and days, even more so when one is still so very young.
Seeing a doctor seems like a good idea at this point. I do hope he'll be feeling better very soon!

Date: 2009-03-29 01:53 am (UTC)He was a bit better today, though still warmer than usual, so I'm hoping he's getting over whatever it is and will be fine by Monday, but if he's not up to going to school, to the doctor we will go!

Date: 2009-03-29 01:56 am (UTC)There's porbably some GI think going around that he/we've caught, but yeah, the doctor is looking pretty good. He was better today, though. Not good, but better.
*hugs back* Thanks!
