(Everyone's been posting grrrs, so...)
I am freezing, though. Last night was cold and we only had a sheet and a thin blanket. Cuddled up to Geoff, it was tolerable, but as soon as he got out of bed, I had to curl up on myself. Getting up to get another blanket would have been way too much work (just the thought of where the blanket was exhausted me). Then it was cold in the house this morning, as we turned the furnace off about two months ago. So I wore my coat. Came home from dropping Babe off, and continued wearing the coat.
Now the windows and door are open to try and get rid of the awful, hideous smell of perfumed floor cleaner (wetjet stuff is NASTY! If I'd known it was so heavily perfumed, I would never have bought the thing!!!) so I don't get a migraine. So... I'm wrapped in a blanket, trying to warm my hands on the computer.
Yeah. Not working.
I wish I knew where my other slipper was.
In happy news, I have done the outline for what I do believe is going to be THE FINAL CHAPTER!!! It might be too long to post as one chapter, but, yeah... I am PSYCHED!!! And everything is turning out as it was supposed to! It's like I planned it or something! ;-)
In less good news, a good portion of Geoff's coworkers saw Babe trying to punch me, proving what awesome parents we are. Yeah. Not happy. All because I refused the brat a piece of candy before he had lunch.
But I'm almost finished with SMHC! YAY! And that's what's really important, isn't it? Not that whole parenting thing...
Um. Yay?

Date: 2009-05-19 01:46 am (UTC)not to worry about Geoff's co-workers seeing Babe throw a fit over the piece of candy. anyone who knows little kids knows that there is little a parent can do at times like these.

Date: 2009-05-19 01:52 pm (UTC)Wetjet is nasty smelling. I don't even think that it's because it is perfumed but more that it is a super chemically perfumed smell. I have other floor cleaners that are perfumed and I can tolerate them. Wetjet makes me gag. Had to throw it away after the first use.
Kids, don't ya just hate to love 'em so much? And the judgment of other people is to die for! It thrills me to death to see that particular gleam in strangers' eyes when my son is having a full on melt down. I just DARE someone to say something.
