I am ONE scene away from finishing this chapter, and therefore basically finishing the story (I need to rework chapter 26 significantly). ONE!

And yet, words are coming slower and slower as my eyes just want to drift shut.

But this is my only hour to write.

But the sofa beckons...


Maybe some food would perk me up. No tea allowed, unfortunately, but food might do the trick.

Is it a rainy, sleepy kind of day there, too? Cause the weather certainly isn't helping me out here.

We've got into what we call May Gray and June Gloom now. The mornings are overcast and a bit damp, but the highs rarely get above 80, even when the clouds clear by the afternoon. So yeah, it's a bit grey, but there's never any rain in these clouds.

Once we have sunny mornings (usually by Independence Day), the humidity plummets and it gets hot (88-100+) for three months.
