On explaining question marks to Babe:

"In English you read and read and read and then come to the end of the sentence and see a question mark and go, 'Aw man, I should have read that like a question'.

"But in Spanish, they're really clever. When it's a question, not only do they have a question mark at the end of the sentence, but they have an upside down question mark at the beginning of the sentence. So if you see an upside down question mark, you know you're reading Spanish."

I'm not sure. Babe was eating dessert, so it's very possible he didn't think anything of it! :-)

*sigh* I just realized I butchered the joke in the retelling. I think I've fixed it, though. ;-)
