Went to the dentist today. I lost count of how many cavities I have. Four to eight, anyway.

Damn this Sjogren's! I am seriously starting to consider getting falsies, but the problem is that my body would probably react against them, leading to permanently inflamed gums and... Fuck.

Not to mention this is a(n estimated) thousand dollars (post crappy insurance reimbursement) we can not afford.

This just makes me want to cry.

On the bright side, at least I'm not afraid of needles, dentists or dental work. Don't like it, of course, but it could be worse. It would suck to have to get knocked out.

The upshot is that I now HAVE to consider taking yet another pill that will help degrade my liver that much faster. Hopefully the pill will be worth it.

Oh man, that sucks.

Probably this is way basic and you're beyond it, but just in case, have you looked into taking milk thistle and/or burdock as well to help your liver deal with the meds?

Yeah, it does, rather.

I am taking milk thistle (when I remember to), but haven't been taking burdock. What are its properties, again?

That sucks. What an absolute... thing. All the more reason for Geoff to bloody well get on with his expenses claim so you can actually get the treatment done.

Yes, isn't it, though. Called the nutritionist today, which won't help with the money woes, but might help turn things around body-wise.

Oh, and he's already turned in loads. Not enough, but loads. We're waiting for the company to get paid so they can pay us...

grr

No kidding! *growls at them* Hopefully Geoff asked like he said he would. And didn't forget like he usually does. ;-/

Well shit. I'm so sorry, sweetie. Here's hoping that if you need to add a pill that it's generic and does only what it's supposed to do. *hugs you*

Oh crap. I hadn't thought of it not being generic... Well, hopefully it will be, and it'll work wonders and suddenly I'll be normal again, right?

*nods*

Oh noes! So much for my being helpful. Now would be a good time to cover your ears and go "Lalalalalalalalala!"

Yeah, but it's all a part of life, right? Hopefully this too shall pass. And not come back to pass again.

Sorry to hear about that. I've been popping naproxen like crazy for my back, which is a no-no because of my kidneys. Told the doc I'd worry about my back for the next few months. Then, we can worry about my kidneys. We'll just keep alternating. Hey, it's job security for him. I'm doing something for the economy and health care system all at once. ...if you don't find something to laugh about, you'll cry. Hope you are feeling better soon and the dentist is painless.
