But since also people count...
My parents' neighbor nursed this fawn because the doe was, I believe, unable to. We've taken to calling the doe Three Legs because one leg, although there, is unusable.
Babe came stomping out and scared the fawn away before I was able to get a good sighting. *sigh*
If you look hard, you can see a head in the water:
And, technically this one doesn't belong here because it isn't actually alive, but here's my mum's birthday present (from me) anyway:
