So I did it. Got it chopped off. Not quite as short as I was thinking of, but it sure is cute. Will probably drive me crazy, though, being just long enough to get in my face without being long enough to pull back attractively. But it is cute.


In other news, I tried writing the first love letter. It's pretty bad poetry, and, overall, pretty sad. Not what I was looking for, so I'll post it here for all of you to laugh at. :\ Needless to say, it's not going to be one of the letters. (Maybe it'll be one of the drafts that'll show up in Snape's Journal, though.)

Dear Hermione,

How can I explain my bad behavior? Let me list the ways...

I didn't know how much I cared until the interview was done.
When I knew I figured you would rather choose death upon the sun
I thought it ill advised to share with you my inner feelings
For fear of your mocking laughter, or worse, to find me kneeling
I know myself too well to wish you anywhere nearby
But when you asked just how I felt, I found no will to lie
Only when I realized how much damage I had wrought
By self-repressed blind jealousy, I was soundly caught
I wanted you to be carefree, with no toils upon this land

Have you considered a sponsored+ account? You get some ads on your LJ page, but iconspace changes to 15 and you get several other treats. I find it enough for my little self :D

I love my paid account. IMO it is definitely worth it, but only if you plan on making use of all the extras that come along with it.
