Doctors... grr
Sep. 3rd, 2009 07:04 pmWent to my ob/gyn today. She is made of awesomeness.
Geoff went to his shrink today. He is... not.
Granted, ob/gyn is a pretty straightforward field, so there isn't much chance of hubris showing up in relation to different ways of doing things, but I find that M.D.s in general tend to have a much more dismissive attitude toward things outside of what they were trained in than D.O.s, N.D.'s, Psy.D.s and Ph.D.s do.
That bothers me.
*deep breath*
But... Everyone is welcome their opinions, no matter how silly or misguided they are. ;-D
(My sense of humor has returned, btw. I'm much less likely to bite now. Just so's you know.)
