averygoodun42It is looking like I may actually have something to work on for NaNoWriMo this year! That would be so cool.
1000 or so words of back-story written today! One of the major character's life just unfolded beneath my fingertips. In abbreviated form, though. This is still just plotting.
Now to write the other version of the events. Which is tricky because it's far more plotty and cunning.
And I still have to decide who lives and who dies. Besides those who will live and those who have already died, that is. The ending is still very much a mystery to me. Well, mostly. Some rules must be followed, after all.
When I've got this all plotted out, would someone be willing to read it and tell me if I'm writing a story that's already been told? Well... you know what I mean. Is it too close to something already out there?
