stalling

I have three different types of pies to make in the next six hours or so. And here I am, at the computer, desperately looking for something to take my attention away from the task at hand.

Yeah.

Not smart.

Thing is... it's Tuesday! Yes, the pies are being picked up tomorrow afternoon, but, well, it's Tuesday! Turkey Day isn't till Thursday, and fresher is better!

I suppose I could bake them all tomorrow morning. I would still want to make the shells today, though, as rolling out the dough is the most time consuming part. No, peeling and coring the apples is. But that really does need to be done at the last possible minute...

I'm suppose to be cleaning. My ILs are due in about 30-60 minutes and I still have to clean 2 more bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, do some dishes, and vacuum.

Yea! Let's hope for 60 minutes (or at least 45).

ILs just called. FIL decided to take different back roads. The '4 hours' turned into 6. Yea, glad I decided to pick the girls up from school rather than have them bus. UGH!.
