Turkey: bought
Clementines: bought and three consumed by Babe already. (yay!)
One store to go to for two more items and one trip to a postal center to go and then I'm done with outside stuff.
Former Choir Director offered to help me with the troublesome alto line of the Hallelujah Chorus tomorrow. Yay! Must practice beforehand so as not to completely embarrass myself.
Cannot find Bird's Custard Powder. Shit. Will have to make custard from scratch. Damn, damn, damn.
Still haven't finished winter trumpet, and I'm not sure I will. I'm not sure how to attach them stem once I make it. Poo.
Dreamt a beautiful line of poetry (one that gave me tingles of rightness), and can't remember it. Blast.
Babe is feeling his cheerful self again. THANK GOD! Hopefully the clementines will help keep him feeling good.
Babe has been watching Star Wars: Episode I over and over and over again. I still can't believe how piss-poor the performances are by everyone except Ian McDiarmid (Palpatine). Also, actually watching it (rather than just listening to it), I am impressed with how far cgi has come in the last ten years. Those were awesome when it came out, and now they look almost as cheesy as the original Star Wars effects.
Oh, and I got out for a half-hour walk this morning. Yay me! It was very nice, except for the block of un-shoveled sidewalk I had to post-hole through. But even that wasn't bad, just more work than I wanted to put in. (It's not like it was feet deep snow, either. It was only a few inches to a foot deep, depending on whether it was plow-droppings or not, irrespectively.)
And that's it. Today I want to make the sugar cookie dough, and maybe do a test run on the custard, but otherwise, it's going to be an easy-going day after I get the errands out of the way. Yay!
Oh, and I do believe *knocks on wood* that the antibiotics did do their job, and my sinus infection is coming to an end. Or at least it's retreating to its normal levels. Yay!
