Thank you all for your opinions. I haven't made up my mind yet, but your input has been both valuable and appreciated. Thank you!
1. 8 degrees (F) is too cold to go walking without hand warmers available.
2. However, it is not too cold to get an emotional lift from a brisk walk through a snowy park on the river.
3. It is too cold to stop and take pictures, though. So no pic spam. Even though the frost spikes on the river were quite marvelous.
4. Art is good for my soul. The picture I'm doing is much harder than I anticipated, and therefore will take much longer, but it is now at a pretty stage, so stopping doesn't feel quite so bad.
5. Babe's toys ARE getting donated if they aren't picked up by bedtime tonight. I'm certainly not holding onto them till next Christmas! And there are many children out there who would love them dearly, especially the train set.
6. Babe's fine motor skills are really quite extraordinary. He drew and then cut out an X-Wing fighter, each wing, with guns, separated. Out of an 8x11" sheet of paper. With big scissors.
Seriously. He haz skillz!
