I am easily amused

I find myself singing while doing laundry. For example, the tune of Neverending Story came to mind as I droned, "Neverending la-aundry, o-o-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh"

Or, while adding to the (never-ending) piles, the theme from Jaws cropped up. "Dark knit. Dark knit. Dark knitdarkknitdarkknit... Permapress!"


And now I am off to eat and leave Babe at the mercy of his (altogether too kindhearted) babysitter.

Or rather, leave the babysitter to Babe's tender mercies.

Bwahahahahaha!

You aren't the only one who's easily amused. I tease my cat by crowding him when he's lying on the floor, and then I walk around behind him as he walks around trying to get away from me. It's a very slow speed chase, and I turn the weirdness up a notch by making up Dr. Seuss-type rhymes as I go. Mom saw me doing that over the weekend, and I'm pretty sure she was considering calling the men in white coats to take me away.

I don't sing about my laundry, though. At least, not yet.

I hope the babysitter survives!
