The bit about head/emotional thinking reminds me of what to do about Neighbor!Lady. Should I tell her, should she complain to me again, that she's being completely unreasonable, or should I just leave her to figure it out on her own? *sigh* It's hard watching other people make costly mistakes without piping up. (And yes, you may all laugh at the irony. Though I'd hope you'd at least point out to me anything that's glaring that I seem to be missing... like rationality.)
