PSA: Castle

averygoodun42Does anyone else watch it? I'm kinda wondering after the really odd and pitiful selection of ads that were shown with it last night.
I like it. Granted, I'm rather fond of Nathan Fillian (Capt. Mal), and he's adorable in his role as Castle. Equal parts egotistical writer, caring father and enthusiastic puppy dog.
Anyway, if you aren't watching it, I highly recommend it because the writing is sharp (banter! with actual wit!), the cases are, for the most part, interesting (if obvious; I'm not watching it for the mystery) and Castle's family ('real' daughter (not a stereotype) and faaahhbulous outlandish mother) is a wonderful counterpoint to the grime of the police scenes.
