computer woes

The computer died again last night. Or this morning. Sometime in between shutting it down because it was flaking out and restarting it this morning to continue writing, it crashed and burned.

Fortunately, there were salvageable parts, else I would not be writing right now.

And I have taken the opportunity to save what I have written onto a floppy in RTF form so that whenever our new computer (thanks to my wonderful B-I-L) arrives formatted to avoid all parts of the evil empire (ie: unix), I can still access my story.

Scary morning, though.

*sigh*

Thank goodness for husbands with computer knowledge. Saves me having to learn. :)

And now back to writing for as long as Babe lets me... Damn. I think my five minutes are up.

Bummer...mine's on its last legs...so I feel your pain...
