(no subject)
Apr. 5th, 2010 03:36 pmSpent most of yesterday curled up in a ball of pain thanks to a minor sunburn (I keep forgetting I'm now actually sun sensitive) and other lovely things.
Up-side to the day, though, was watching my (holiday indulgence) discs of Emma. One extra pleasant bit was the surprise of extra scenes that were edited out of the online version (not having seen it on broadcast, I don't know if they were there or not, though I suspect not). Some, or even most of them didn't add anything, though I must say all the scenes relating to the trip to Box Hill made that scene even more painful and poignant.
There were a few other scenes that added insight and character development, but for the most part, the show didn't lose anything for not having those scenes in.
Now I must go use the sunshine (or part-cloud cover) and paint the rest of the raised-bed boards. Then I think I'll collapse in a heap and watch Emma again. If Babe allows it, that is. ;-)
Hope everyone had a better Easter/Passover than me!
