Technical problems: HELP!

Right. I'm having technical difficulties, and I have no idea what the problem may be.

Here on LJ and on that other networking site, I can not do anything with (most) links. If there is a link that leads to another site, I can right click and open it in a new tab/window, but not go to it directly. Any ideas of what settings might be causing this?

(I can't do anything on FB except read at the moment, because it all requires pushing a button or clicking a link.)

Additional info: It seems to only be restricting link usage on the main page. The user bars(? like the LJ Home, Profile, Journal, etc. tags, or the facebook account settings links) seem mostly exempt. However, I am posting this through right click opening of a new tab because otherwise it's not registering the order.

Oh, and I have restarted the computer and it's still going strong.

ETA: No... there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I'm editing through clicking the link to edit, but I couldn't get to the friends page by clicking the user bar link.

I have no idea what's going on. HEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPP!


Anyway, this is driving me absolutely nuts and I would appreciate any insight you might be able to offer. Thank you!
