It's too late to start grouting, seeing as I have to leave in just over two hours (eta less than two, now) for an acupuncture appointment. (Two hours is how long it takes for grout to set before you start washing off the haze.)

So, I guess it's meme time. Though I suppose I could go off to sand the coat rack I made yesterday in preparation for painting. Or go off to find the finishing pieces for the coat rack (toppers for the "hooks"). Or go cut tiles to absurdly small widths for shimming electrical outlet purposes (don't ask, I'll just start capslocking). Or fold laundry. Or mow the lawn. Or...

Memetime it is!

How very... bland. I guess I am rather bland nowadays. Which I suppose is a good thing for a mom to be at this point in kid's life, but... *shrug*

1. What songs are you currently addicted to?
I actually haven't been listening to music. I've been singing the concert songs (especially How Can I Keep from Singing) to myself quite a lot, but that's called practice, not addiction.

2. What are you currently reading?
Er... Whatever books I'm currently reading, it's been so long since I picked them up that I'll have to start over again.

3. What was the last movie you saw?
Love Actually. In the theater? Um... Iron Man 1? No, we saw some other comic book movie since that... can't remember though. Or be bothered to look.

4. What makes you angriest/most frustrated right now?
Politics in this country. A dark cloud is descending...

5. Favourite book and why?
P&P. It and Little Women, Persuasion and that ilk just make me happy.

6. What are your current addictions?
Castle, Lost and the beloved internet. (I hate May, though June will be worse.)

7. What is your favourite t-shirt?
Lately it's my relatively new Jack Skelington shirt with the word "naughty" across my waistline. It's a good fit, flattering, and I get to wear Jack Skelington!

8. Something about you that most people don't know? Extra points if it is interesting.
I want to build or restore a classic car. I'm hoping my relationship with Babe will be good into his teen years so that we can take mechanics courses together and have it be a project to share. That's my dream, anyway.

9. What was the last thing you bought?
My shooooooooooeeeeeees! They came, they're comfy and I've had friends covet them. Life is good.

10. Do you have more friends online or off?
Couldn't say. I've been feeling rather friendless in both worlds.

11. Something that made you laugh today?
It's too early. I haven't reached that stage yet. (Five stages of waking up: Denial and Pillow Isolation, Growling, Bargaining and Snooze Hitting, Resentment and Resumption of Amusement) I think I'm still in the resentment stage.

12. Favourite non-alcoholic beverage?
A good chai. That or a Viennese Iced Coffee (espresso or latte poured over vanilla ice cream with whipped cream on top. Yum.)

13. What was the last thing you ate?
Oatmeal with molasses. Still hungry, though.

14. What are your current favourite pairings?
(Possibly) canon? Kate/Sawyer, Castle/Beckett. Non canon? Grape.

15. Favourite website(s)?
LA Times Games page.

16. What are your plans for tomorrow?
Church, covenant groups potluck, LOST.

17. What kind of music is contained in your hard drive?
No idea. None, probably.

18. Favourite colour?
Silver.

19. Pet peeve?
Oh, I have so many, I don't think it's fair to pick.

20. Guilty pleasure(s)?
Computer time, ice cream, cocoa, mac and cheese (I made a really good one the other day), NCIS... Pretty clothes.

Concert was last night. It went better than the practices, which is good. The audience just barely outnumbered the performers, though. We had a lot of performers, though (maybe a hundred?), so that's okay. I wonder if we'll find out how many people came/how much money we raised tomorrow.

I think I've had my fill of barber shop for the year, however. They were good, but I get tired of the same damn chords. It's almost as bad as punk. There were some stand out performances, though, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Especially the second half.

As I was getting into bed last night, it struck me that Monday was the only day this week that I did not stay out past ten. I had a long, busy week. We or I don't have anywhere to be today, so that's good. Still need to figure out what to do with Babe for tomorrow's Lost, however.

And now I'm going to go find something to eat so that I don't succumb to that lusty siren cocoa.

Memeage! Seems a while since I did a pointless meme. How tempting.

I wouldn't have expected you for classic car rebuilding, but I can see the appeal. =)
