Snowtastrophy

We've finally got a winter storm worthy of being called a winter storm. 14-16" inches of snow, and more coming down, and most of the first 8 fell between 2-5 am.
It was a snow day. Actually, when the robot!superintendent of the schools called, giving us the message that school was canceled, I looked out the window and could not see across the street. I saw a blurry brightish bit where one of the neighbors' front porch light was, but that was it.
It was not, however, blowing, and therefore it was not a blizzard.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll find the time and energy to take Babe to one of the local sledding hills. I think we'd both get a kick out of that. But it's unlikely I'll get the chance, unfortunately, as things keep piling up as I'm unable to do them.
