Haven't decided if I'm finished with this yet. I don't think I am, which means another staring session is in order. It's possible that I am just uneasy because it's so very different from my usual thing...

"Watercolor" on gessoed canvas. The watercolors are a mix of crayola kids' watercolors (this was originally Page's canvas; I was showing him how to use his new paints) and watered down acrylics.

I haven't even decided which way is up yet, though I have narrowed it down to this or the black on the right side.

The muse is being rather kind to me; I have two more ideas lined up, one of which I can start at any point (another watercolor! What's up with that?), the other I have to think a bit on and determine how best to do it. I think the second is going to be a multi-media work and make use of aluminum foil, though I'm not sure how to work it in (as in, how to make the foil bits stick). Will need to experiment and maybe even research.

Can't see the naked people, but I can totally see the elephants. Maybe I should call it "Midnight march of the pink elephants"? XD

Wow. Definitely a departure, but I love it. (I also want it printed on fabric so I can make a very loud dress with it.)

Isn't it? I kept telling myself as I was working on it "think poetry, not prose."

Ooh, that would be a fun fabric, wouldn't it? How big would you want the pattern to be?

I'm having a difficult time answering this question. The 'dribble' lines across the black field should probably be no smaller than a pencil-width. But I suspect it would also work if it was much bigger.

Oooh, that would work!

I'm either seeing dripping blood or a waterfall - I know which one I prefer, so rainbow waterfall it is for me!

I see water, too, but more a lake reflecting. I love seeing what everyone else sees!

It's incredibly dynamic with the black on the right. I like it.

Wow, very different but I like it too (and I usually am meh about abstracts). The coloring...wow.

Though mostly what I think of is "Gosh, it's 'Melt With You' by Modern English in picture form!" *sheepish gryn*
