I am not in a good mood today as I found out Geoff is up to his old tricks again.
One of the things the psychiatrist asked yesterday was if I had wanted to get married. The answer was and is yes and no. Yes, because that was the only way I saw of making Geoff feel really secure in our relationship and therefore happy (I was young and stupid). No, because... well, marriage is not good for women, even with equitably-minded people like Geoff (I wasn't completely naive).
And, I gotta say, there are times - like now - I really wish we hadn't got married.
*shrugs*
Decision was made, is regretted, but we'll work through this somehow. At least he's not a misogynistic bastard. (And is, in fact, a very decent man for the most part.)
