It's that time again. My brain is rather scattered and I know there are things that need to be done indoors as well as out, so...
Inside:
Check chicken stock to see if still good. If good, actually refrigerate.
(finish) clean(ing) greens and refrigerate.
clean toilets and sinks
whites
sheets
"mural" - get frame down, find paints, prepare.
emails. (Oh god, that requires words. Don't have words. or thoughts. That's why I'm listing!)
research Tuscan flowers
look up free/cheap bricks on craigslist/freecycle
look up wood on craigslist
nap
make dinner (and for heaven's sake, use those beets!)
send sympathy card to former neighbor.
...
I know I'm forgetting some urgent stuff. Darn it.
Outside: (not for today)
cut off dead grape wood
and those trunks of vicious bush weed
collect ripe veggie seeds
mow lawn
(aside: wonder when the landscapers will be back in the neighborhood. Need to find out if I need to move my front garden plants to the back.)
finish weeding/prepping back garden (80 30 square feet left? or 90?)
move rocks from beside driveway to little gulch/path to compost pile
create gulch before that happens
finish shaping half circle; transplant sod to large arch
plant leatherwood and lady ferns under arbor
plant shallow pot hosta in half circle Move hosta
place step stones
take out cutesy border things around defunct kidney garden; seed
start placing rocks around tree in back
Tomorrow or the next day:
Library - return Aristocats, get book 11 (and 12) of No. 1 Detective Agency
go to college, fix plate number on parking permit (my bad)
drop off wellness center form at doctor's
get blood drawn (ouchie!)
...
Before Sunday:
bring in all potted plants
try to plant those in the bigger containers (though not in crushing distance of arbor)
bring in (or otherwise secure) bikes, toys and other lightweight detritus
Note to self: never make a long list when tired. Terribly demoralizing.
(And remember, self, you have reason to be tired! After all, you were on the go ALL DAY yesterday. ALL DAY. yay!)
