Depends on the spices and recipe used. I don't really like the flavor of jalepenos, and, although habeneros are tasty, they get awfully hot awfully quickly... And the Thai peppers are deadly, but delish. But normally, yes.

Noon

Sleeping like a good girl should.

I got the commission! I start working on the mural week after next. I really, really hope I can do as good a job as I claim I can. *nibbles fingers*

Also on the art front, I went through my photographs tonight searching for some inspiration, which has been successfully avoiding me since finishing that last painting. I think I've got some winners. Most of them will be "abstracts" based upon snippets of three photos. I think I'll do the gorge wall first, seeing as its palette is most compatable with the "People" part of the show... (My new theme for my mini-show is going to be "People and Places" because that way, if I don't get any other paintings done, I have some back-ups to fill in.) But either of the water ones would work well with Remembrance and Untitled (in the "Places" category). Hopefully I'll have time to do both the cliff face and one of the water shots. Of course, then I have to decide whether to go with the lily pads (Japanesque) or ocean (Impressionistic)... Decisions, decisions.

Of course, I also still need to do a portrait of Babe, as well. I really want to strut my stuff, and I know my ability in portraiture is better than average... I'm the youngest artist in this community, and I really want to prove that I'm good. That I'm really good. That I'm worth supporting financially paying attention to.

Portraits... don't have to be boring, but so far, inspiration hasn't been giving me much to work on in the portrait department. I seem to be more in a "places" mind frame. *shrug* That's okay, though.

I'm so jealous of your artistic ability. I have ideas in my head but have problems putting them down on paper (art or writing wise)

I saw some gorgeous abstract photography the other night that reminded me of (what I've seen of some of) your work. She photographed water, the colors and patterns made me think of textiles.
