But I just wanted to say I was right. 'Tis scarlet fever that Page has. Now for the pharmacy to fill the prescription in a timely manner so he can go to school on Thursday.

*taps keyboard impatiently*

ETA (even if I never posted the original post): Prescription's filled and Page is on his way to being hale again. Whee.

Glad you've got the antibiotics. Hope he's feeling better soon.

Oh, yeah! I know when western medicine is the right course of action!

He seems to be feeling better already, thanks. And tomorrow I will feel better when he goes off to school. Yay!

I suspect that he would have been on his way to normal even without the antibiotics, but I'd rather not leave that to chance in this case.

Thanks!

Yeah, although it really isn't any scarier than strep in this day and age. However, knowing that strep can be deadly if left untreated, I thought it definitely best to get him on those antibiotics!

Thanks!

I'm sorry. I'm glad you got the antibiotics.

Thanks. Strep isn't something I like to mess around with. One of my brother's cases of strep went septic when he was little. I'd rather avoid that. (And I'm certainly not going to mess around with increasing the chance that Page'd get rheumatic fever! Eek!)

Thanks. He seemed to have a pretty mild case to begin with, and has been cheerful throughout. But, yeah, I think he's on the mend now. Thanks!
